Maintenance Contracts Ensure Tablet/Capsule Weight Sorters Provide Optimum Performance

The CI Electronics SADE SP tablet/capsule weight sorter is a highly efficient, accurate and reliable instrument but, as with any measurement device, it requires regular maintenance and calibration. CI Electronics is now offering cost-effective annual on-site maintenance contracts to give users the confidence that their weight sorters are operating at peak efficiency and not falling overdue for calibration.

Users with maintenance contracts benefit from having a CI Customer Support Engineer visit their site, normally twice per year, to conduct routine maintenance and issue a traceable calibration certificate. Included in the maintenance schedule are a comprehensive examination of the weight sorter, removal of certain parts for examination and test, removal of the balance head for examination, full functional checks, a calibration and linearity check, and a repeatability test.

While on site, the service engineer can also provide training on all aspects of the instrument. If required, training can cover set-up, operation, dismantling and cleaning, calibration and security settings.

Compared with the alternative of customers having to return their weight sorters to CI Electronics for maintenance and calibration, the on-site service is far less disruptive and means that the instruments are out of use for less than a day. If any problems arise with a weight sorter during the period of the maintenance contract, a service engineer will visit the customer free of charge.
