Express Start

We offer an alternative to our standard implementation plan that is recommended for:

• Projects where your team have availability for a concentrated period
• Projects where timescales are tight

Express Start compresses the initiation and early part of the development phase into an intensive period at the start of the project. This requires the availability of each member of your project team for approximately 70% of a period of up to two weeks (depending on project scope).

During this period two members of our team visit your site and typically cover the following activities (as applicable):

• Project initiation workshop
• URS (User Requirements Specification) review and approval (including interfaces and any software modifications)
• Hardware review (including PC equipment and booth modifications)
• Project quality review (including the project plan)
• Business process review
• Training to members of your project team
• Configuration workshop (with members of your project team)
• Install Ci-DMS on your development environment
• Site acceptance validation document i.e. Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ) and Performance Qualification(PQ) review
• Production of the Quality and Project Plan (QAP), Business Process Review (BPR), Configuration document (CGG) and Functional Design Specification (FDS) documents
• Present and review the QAP, BPR and FDS documents for joint approval

The remainder of the project activities are as per our standard project lifecycle.

The benefits of Express Start are:

• The project duration is reduced by up to 4 weeks
• The call on your resources is more concentrated (i.e. rather than being spread out across the duration of the project)
• The number of CI visits is reduced
